Buongiourno!
We are in bella Cittadella. We weather is hot! The temperature is in the mid 30s (the low to mid 90s for our American friends).
We arrived on Tuesday after staying in Villa Franca near Verona for a couple of days. Time is going by so quickly it’s hard to believe we only have a week to go before our trip is over. We have had such an incredible time. We’ve met so many amazing people. The hosting Rotary clubs of District 2060 have been absolutely wonderful. They have gone above and beyond what we expected in terms of providing educational and informative vocational visits, rewarding and meaningful cultural tours, and hospitality that kindness in their homes. Grazie di tutti!
Today will visit Padova for a culture and history tour. Friday we head to Vicenza for the District Congress. Our final destination is Venice. We will be there for three days before I head home on Thursday, May 31. Kendy, Jenn, Amy, and Michael will extend their adventure and travel throughout other areas of Italy.
Ciao for now!

VERONA
Well just spent four days in Verona and before that we were in Trento. As usual this will be brief. In Trento we went to the firehall and visited a couple of fabulous wineries. Yesterday we had a tour of the Ducaty factory and museum...how amazing, then a BBQ for Amy for her birthday. The day before we participated in a local run. 12,000 people. Linda and I did the 13 km and Kendy did the 5 km. What fun....but oh the hills!!!!!!!!!! Instead of a t-shirt we recieved a box of goodies...such as olive oil, pasta, risotto, juice and wine. Yes we got a bottle of wine. Better than a cotton t-shirt you never wear...lol. Then it was off to the beach. After a 1.5 hour drive we arrived at the adriatic sea were we baked in the sun. I would love to tell you all more about the castles and yaght clubs we have been to but no time as we are off to our next stay. Only a few days until the district conference were we will have the opportunity to see people again. Again sorry about our lack of entries and my spelling ...no time for spell ckecking and the automatic one is in italian...lol
Ciao Jenn :)
