Amy Black, Team Leader



Amy Black District 5050 GSE Team Leader is a member of the Rotary Club of Monroe, WA USA where she served as the club's first female president in 2001-2002. Amy has held several positions in her club and is actively involved in District 5050 committees. Amy will be serving as an Assistant District Governor to District Governor-Elect, John Bosch in 2007-2008. Amy was born and raised in Seattle, WA USA. In 1985 Amy met and eventually married her husband Bob. They are the parents of two daughters; Taryn, age 15 and Tracy, age 11.
Amy is the owner/operator of the Baskin Robbins franchise located in Monroe, WA USA, a growing town located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range. Prior to opening her ice cream franchise, Amy spent eight years working in law enforcement at a county jail.
While in Italy, Amy looks forward to visiting female-run businesses, seeing parts of the Italian judicial system including jails/prisons, as well as taking in the sights and tastes of the area. Amy's hobbies include cooking, entertaining friends, shopping, playing golf, and being outdoors. Amy would enjoy visiting outdoor markets, a Chardonnay vinyard/winery, a Casino, and outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, and more.

Michael Stadler



Michael, 25 years old, lives on the south end of Whidbey Island nestled in the Puget Sound in Washington, United States. He has been a board member on the South Whidbey Youth Connection, which is a service group for youth, for 5 years as secretary. Michael has owned a photography studio for 6.5 years and offers many services such as portraiture, weddings, advertising, product and architecture photography and also operates a gallery featuring Michael’s personal work.

Michael’s family lives on the island including his parents and three brothers and lives on 10 acres of woods with his girlfriend of 7 years, Joanna. Interests include playing music with his friends on the guitar and ukulele, hiking with his dog Sam, adventuring to the southwest desert and going on trips that lend any photographic possibilities.

Linda Finch



Linda Finch is a community recreation coordinator for the City of White Rock. She manages all of the children’s recreation and ice-skating programs within the city. She is also an organizer for the Tour de White Rock, a world-class annual cycling race.

Linda has lived on the west coast of British Columbia her entire life. She was born and raised in Abbotsford, B.C. where her family still lives. She now lives in the beautiful seaside resort town of White Rock. She lives with her partner of two years and their Labrador retriever. Linda has been involved in sports most of her life. While no longer a competing athlete, she remains very active. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, hiking, tennis, golf and yoga.

Kendy Michaloski




Kendy Michaloski lives in beautiful British Columbia, in the city of Chillliwack. She shares her home with her 4 year old, golden retriever named Justice.

She has worked in law enforcement for the past 7 years. Starting in Corrections, she worked as an officer in a work and program facility and also spent time working at a multi-security, male offender jail. Kendy is currently employed with the Canada Border Service Agency as a Customs and Immigration Officer. She started her career in Customs and Border Patrol at Vancouver International Airport and now works at Huntingdon, Land border crossing. Kendy has just recently finished an assignment in recruitment and has future aspirations to become a Detector Dog Handler within the agency.

Kendy spends her free time enjoying the outdoors. She is active in community sports and participates on golf, volleyball and dragon boating teams. She enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as hiking with her dog on the many surrounding trails and mountains in the area.

Jenn Dawkins



Jenn Dawkins is a 35 year old professional fire fighter with the city of Vancouver, in British Columbia, Canada. During the course of her 7 years of firefighting, Jenn has also become a member of two very specialized and elite emergency service teams: the Hazardous Materials Team and the Vancouver Urban Search and Rescue team which responds to natural disasters and structural collapses.

Jenn lives in Maple Ridge, British Columbia with her 5 year old lab/shep cross named Billy. She enjoys spending her time training outdoors as an endurance athlete in all the natural wonders BC has to offer. In addition, Jenn volunteers in her home town with the Ridge-Meadows Search and Rescue team; an opportunity that enables her to combine her physical fitness, specialized emergency rescue skills, and local knowledge of the wilderness to assist lost and or injured outdoor enthusiasts. 

Jenn would like to see the beautiful mountains of Italy and perhaps watch the Giro D’Italia and be further inspired to excel in her triathlon pursuits.  Jenn loves to cook and looks forward learning about Italian cuisine.
