Amy Black, Team Leader



Amy Black District 5050 GSE Team Leader is a member of the Rotary Club of Monroe, WA USA where she served as the club's first female president in 2001-2002. Amy has held several positions in her club and is actively involved in District 5050 committees. Amy will be serving as an Assistant District Governor to District Governor-Elect, John Bosch in 2007-2008. Amy was born and raised in Seattle, WA USA. In 1985 Amy met and eventually married her husband Bob. They are the parents of two daughters; Taryn, age 15 and Tracy, age 11.
Amy is the owner/operator of the Baskin Robbins franchise located in Monroe, WA USA, a growing town located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range. Prior to opening her ice cream franchise, Amy spent eight years working in law enforcement at a county jail.
While in Italy, Amy looks forward to visiting female-run businesses, seeing parts of the Italian judicial system including jails/prisons, as well as taking in the sights and tastes of the area. Amy's hobbies include cooking, entertaining friends, shopping, playing golf, and being outdoors. Amy would enjoy visiting outdoor markets, a Chardonnay vinyard/winery, a Casino, and outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, and more.
