Our GSE trip finished Wednesday evening with a wonderful dinner hosted by the Rotary Club of Venice. I flew home early Thursday morning. Amy, Jenn, Kendy, and Michael are extending their trip to visit other areas of Italy. They will be coming home on June 11, except Kendy who will be extending her trip even longer and coming home June 21. Have fun team!
I wish to personally thank the generous Rotary Club members of District 2060 and their families and friends who hosted us during this trip. I've brought home many fond memories of my time with all of you. Thank you for help in providing this incredible experience. I look forward to staying in touch with you.
I also wish to thank my team leader, Amy and team members Michael, Jenn and Kendy. I enjoyed travelling with all of you and the friendships we've made. I look forward to catching up with everyone when you get back.
Finally, thank you to the Rotary Club members of District 5050 and all the GSE coordinators who made this trip possible. Special thanks to Rod Thompson, Elaine Howardson, Bert van Dalfsen, Tage Cawley, and Rod McLeod. I look forward to seeing you soon to share my stories and photos.
